Electrical Engineer (PH)

About the Role

The Corporate Real Estate Operations group manages day-to-day facilities, capital planning, and engineering for Disney's owned and leased properties. This Electrical Engineer Project Hire provides technical support for all corporate electrical and critical power systems.

What You'll Do

• Serve as technical resource for electrical and critical power systems across Disney corporate properties
• Provide engineering services for design, development, testing/troubleshooting, and programming of electrical systems
• Handle electrical design, installation, and commissioning for all electrical and critical power systems
• Supervise third-party MEP consultants on electrical design and power calculations
• Assist in critical system design (studios, broadcast spaces, data centers)
• Develop, review, and interpret electrical drawings for projects
• Provide technical support for capital improvements and forecast expense and capital budgets
• Review new project designs for adherence to Disney's Energy Goals

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as an Electrical Engineer
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience in electrical system design, Utility, Critical Power Plants, and Lighting Controls
• Experience with instrumentation, start-up, and commissioning of electrical systems
• Knowledge of Facility Control Systems, Building Controls, Energy Management Systems
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam REVU
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Revit and Professional Engineering license a plus
