FX Production & Special Projects Intern, Spring 2027

About the Role

The FX Production & Special Projects group oversees on-air promotions, editorial campaigns, and special projects for marketing and other departments. FX's slate includes Shogun, The Bear, Alien, American Horror Story, Atlanta, Dave, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and a growing roster of docuseries and documentary features.

As an intern, you'll work alongside a small collaborative team, assisting with admin needs, shoot prep, research, post organization, and the department newsletter. There's potential to be offered as a Production Assistant on local shoots for Print, Social, and On-Air Promotions.

This is a 6-month, full-time, on-site internship in the Burbank, CA area from January 2027 to June 2027.

What You'll Do

• Assist the Production & Special Projects team with admin needs, shoot prep, and research
• Support post-production organization
• Help with the department bi-weekly newsletter
• Potential opportunity as a Production Assistant on local shoots

Requirements

• Interest in and basic knowledge of current FX TV shows and production/post-production
• Basic administration skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Photoshop
• Excellent communication & organizational skills
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university (senior year preferred), Film/TV/Media/Marketing/Production or related major preferred
• At least 18 years old with unrestricted work authorization

Schedule & Pay

$23/hr · On-site in Burbank · January–June 2027 · 40 hours/week, Mon–Fri 9am–6pm PT
