Program Assistant (Bilingual English/Armenian)

About the Role

Child Care Resource Center (Northern Los Angeles County) is seeking a Program Assistant for the Child Care Financial Assistance (CCFA) Division. Full-time, hybrid schedule. Bilingual English/Armenian highly preferred.

$20.00/hr

Responsibilities

Clerical & Administrative (55%)

• Support case management: filing, typing, mailing, preparing enrollment and provider packets
• Maintain CCRC's eligibility list; request documentation to maintain family eligibility
• Develop accurate records of families' program activity
• Apply knowledge of program regulations (Title V, Stage 1 contract, CDE, CCRC policies)

Customer Service (45%)

• Provide professional customer service to clients, families, and providers
• Answer phones, assist callers, and provide technical assistance to parents on childcare questions
• Provide daily support to the CCFA Division

Requirements

• High School diploma + 2 years related experience (Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, or related)
• OR Associate's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Child Development, Social Work, or related field
• Proficiency with Windows-based programs and data entry
• Some driving required; valid CA driver's license

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree
• Bilingual: English & Armenian or Spanish

Schedule & Pay

$20.00/hr | Hybrid | Full-time | Late shift until 7 pm one Monday/month
