About the Role
Glendale Community College's Noncredit Business and Life Skills Division is accepting applications for part-time Lifelong Learning Seminar Instructors to teach enrichment classes for older adults. Example courses include fitness/dance/movement, computers/smartphones, memoir writing, film appreciation, and art appreciation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with a major related to the subject AND 30 hours of coursework in understanding the needs of older adults (may complete during 1st year of employment), OR
- AA Degree with a related major AND 2 years of occupational experience AND 60 hours of coursework in understanding the needs of older adults, OR
- Bachelor's degree AND one year of professional experience working with older adults
