About the Role
Adventist Health Glendale is seeking a full-time Monitor Technician for the night shift. This role reads, interprets, and relays cardiac rhythm information to nursing staff, and provides clerical support on the unit.
What You'll Do
- Continuously monitor electrocardiograms, identify and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Document arrhythmias and report significant changes to nursing staff
- Provide frontline electronic medical record order entry support for physicians and staff
- Monitor electronic records and address concerns with registered nurses as necessary
- Assist with admission and discharge processes
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required
- CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor (per AH policy) required
- Associate's/Technical degree or equivalent preferred
