Medical Assistant

About the Role

Performs administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a provider — preparing treatment rooms, taking vital signs, maintaining equipment and inventory, and handling patient scheduling and electronic medical records.

What You'll Do

• Administer medical questionnaires, take temperatures, document findings
• Manage patient relations
• Assist with examinations and minor surgery; collect specimens
• Perform visual testing and file lab results
• Manage medications and inventory
• Translate as needed; conduct chart preparation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certificate
• 2 years experience preferred
• CPR certification; AAMA certification preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish/Armenian required

• $22–$25/hour, dependent on experience
