Medical Assistant

About the Role

Performs administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a provider — preparing treatment rooms, assisting patients, taking vital signs, and maintaining equipment and inventory.

What You'll Do

• Administer medical questionnaires, take temperatures, document findings
• Manage appointment changes; ensure timely service
• Inform patients of their provider and handle complaints
• Perform visual testing, file lab results, assist in examinations
• Collect specimens; may administer injections under provider direction
• Screen calls, maintain logs, provide translation services
• Prepare areas for audits

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Medical Assistant Certificate
• CPR Certified; AAMA certification preferred
• Bilingual in English and Armenian, or Russian required
• 2 years experience preferred

Pay & Benefits

• $22–$25/hour, dependent on experience
