About the Role
Universal Television Entertainment (UTE) is seeking a dynamic strategist to support the development of holistic, data-informed marketing strategies for original programming, acquired content and films on Peacock. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Marketing Strategy, this role is part of a broader team building actionable marketing strategies across the UTE portfolio — including NBC, Bravo, NBC Sports, and Peacock — that drive awareness, subscriber acquisition, and engagement.
The role plays a critical part in leveraging data and insights to help marketing teams understand the value proposition, cultural context, and growth opportunities for priority content on Peacock, then translating that into actionable direction for creative development, audience targeting, and cross-functional collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Contribute to marketing strategy development for Peacock's original series and key titles — defining positioning, audience targets, objectives, and strategic frameworks
- Support the translation of research, cultural insights, and performance data into clear takeaways that inform strategy and campaign direction
- Help identify marketing hooks that expand reach, drive engagement, and unlock growth opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Media, Multiplatform Planning, Decision Sciences, Programming, and other partners
- Support the translation of strategy into campaign execution across creative, media, and other platform touchpoints
- Develop clear, compelling presentations that bring strategies to life for internal stakeholders
- Track campaign performance and contribute to optimization by surfacing key insights and learnings
- Conduct competitive analyses across the streaming and entertainment landscape
- Maintain project tracking for multiple workstreams and deliverables to meet deadlines
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in marketing strategy, brand planning, or entertainment marketing (preferably within streaming, television, media, or agency)
- Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to connect data, cultural insights, and business objectives into clear, actionable recommendations
- Skilled communicator and visual storyteller with experience distilling complex ideas into compelling narratives and presentations (PowerPoint or Keynote)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with data and insights, translating findings into clear implications for marketing strategy
- Proactive self-starter; passion for television, streaming, and pop culture
Preferred
- Bachelor's Degree
- Familiarity with project management systems like Airtable
Schedule & Pay
