Manager, Global Communications

About the Role

The Communications Manager will support external communications across Universal Destinations & Experiences Global Consumer Products & Games business. Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Communications, this role develops and executes strategic communications campaigns elevating franchise storytelling, business milestones, consumer products, games, partnerships, retail, and fan engagement.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute communications strategies and PR campaigns supporting franchise growth and consumer products/games initiatives
• Lead communications planning for assigned franchises, products, and partnerships
• Partner with internal teams across franchise, studio, theme parks, licensing, games, retail, and events
• Serve as a trusted communications advisor to business stakeholders and cross-functional partners
• Identify proactive storytelling opportunities and craft press releases, media pitches, and talking points
• Curate and activate creator and influencer partnerships
• Manage relationships with entertainment, lifestyle, trade, and consumer media
• Manage external PR agencies and vendors
• Support portfolio at press events, fan activations, premieres, and licensing trade shows

Requirements

• 5+ years of public relations and communications experience, preferably in licensing, entertainment, media, or related industries
• Proven experience developing and executing integrated communications strategies

Pay & Benefits

Salary range: $85,000–$105,000 (bonus eligible) · Hybrid · Full-time
