Manager, Rides & Attractions Technical Services

About the Role

The Manager, Technical Services (Rides & Attractions) maintains strategic and daily operational plans for all Rides & Attractions systems at Universal Studios Hollywood. You'll provide technical guidance for Audio, Special Effects, Projection, Lighting, Set/Scenic, Props, Show Action Equipment, Animated Figures, Ride Mechanical Systems, Ride Control, and Show Control Systems.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and assign technicians to set up, install, repair, and maintain all equipment and venue operations
• Ensure all Ride & Attraction equipment meets the highest safety standards per USH Policies
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to Ride & Attraction Technicians in the field
• Oversee technical interaction with Attraction Responsible Engineers, Vendors, and Sub-contractors
• Maintain documentation systems and ensure daily reports are completed
• Develop training programs, workforce planning, and rewards & recognition programs
• Maintain positive union relationships in partnership with HR and Labor Relations

Requirements

• Significant experience in ride/attraction technical services or related field
• Strong technical understanding of ride mechanical, electrical, and show systems
• Leadership and team management experience
• Ability to work with union labor and maintain positive labor relations

Pay & Benefits

$90,000–$120,000/yr · On-site · Full-time · Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, and tuition reimbursement
