Leasing Professional

Greystar is hiring a Leasing Professional for a 362-unit stabilized community in the San Fernando Valley.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00/hr + bonuses | Full-time Weekend availability required (9am-6pm). Housing discount: 20% off for on-site team members.

1-2 years of leasing experience required. Prior affordable and stabilized housing experience preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects; conduct community tours and show apartments
• Process applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks
• Prepare lease and move-in packages; ensure smooth resident move-in and lease signing
• Inspect apartments prior to resident move-in
• Monitor market and competitor conditions; develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans
• Execute marketing activities including resident referral programs and internet marketing (Craigslist, Facebook, etc.)
• Use property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability and manage resident/prospect data
• Maintain show units and marketing corridor to company standards
• Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction
• Execute lease renewal program: prepare renewal letters and meet with renewing residents
