FX Original Programming Intern, Spring 2027

About the Role

Work alongside FX's Emmy Award-winning team as an intern on the Original Programming team, contributing to development, current series, and casting. FX's slate includes Shōgun, The Bear, American Horror Story, It's Always Sunny, and many more — 661 Emmy nominations and 140 wins.

Internship runs January 2027 – June 2027, full-time in Burbank, CA. You'll report to the Manager of Development. A cover letter about your interest in the FX brand is required.

What You'll Do

• Write coverage on scripts and pilots
• Enter information into development grids and tracking reports
• Assist with research projects
• Support administrative duties for the Development, Current Programming, and Casting departments

Requirements

• Strong writing skills; ability to analyze story and write coverage
• Appetite for high-volume reading
• Strong research skills
• Understanding of the competitive TV landscape
• Familiarity with industry talent (writers, directors, actors)
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred

• Previous professional or internship experience
• General knowledge of FX Networks programming
• Airtable experience
• Senior-year standing preferred

Eligibility

• Enrolled in an accredited college/university (at least one class) OR in a Disney College Program/Internship
• At least 18 years old
• Unrestricted work authorization

Pay & Benefits

$23/hr. Benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package.
