About the Role
Glendale Community College is seeking a Fire Academy Lab Technician (Professional Expert) to prepare equipment and assist instructors in Fire Academy lab sessions and off-site demonstrations.
Duties
- Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for laboratory sessions
- Assist instructors with lecture preparation, activity planning, and student skills assessment
- Assist instructors in scoring and recording student tests
- Maintain inventory and lab supply records
Qualifications
- Two years of experience as a Fire Academy technician (field or school)
- Fire Fighter Training Certification issued by the California State Fire Marshal's Office
- Knowledge of fire fighting procedures, training apparatus, and equipment
