About the role
This position supports CSUN's Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) by organizing events that serve historically disadvantaged students, managing program meetings, seminars, workshops, and orientations, and collaborating across campus departments.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute diverse EOP programming, from orientations to graduations
- Manage logistical details including venues, vendors, permits, and catering
- Handle virtual event coordination using platforms like Zoom
- Conduct post-event assessments to improve future planning
- Ensure compliance with university policies and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience substituted year-for-year)
- Experience working with multicultural populations and low-income students preferred
- Direct experience with EOP/TRIO programs highly desirable
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Monday-Friday; may include evenings and weekends. Open only to current CSU employees.
Pay & benefits
