About the Role
Develops and instructs wellness classes — yoga, meditation, Reiki, sound healing — for CSUN's University Student Union Wellness Center, reporting to the Manager, Wellness Center.
What You'll Do
- Instruct live classes and plan safe routines for all ability levels
- Record approved-format videos as requested and promote wellness programs
- Initiate emergency procedures when needed
Requirements
- Tiered qualifications (Tier 1–5) based on teaching experience and credentials — from no experience plus one wellness credential, up to 6 years of cumulative teaching experience
- Current American Red Cross adult CPR/AED/First Aid certification (all tiers)
Schedule
Part-time, temporary 6-month emergency appointment (may be renewed); schedule varies by departmental need.
Pay
$23.00–$43.00/hour depending on tier.
