EMT Adjunct Instructor

About the Role

Glendale Community College's Health Sciences Division is accepting applications on a continuous basis for part-time Emergency Medical Technology (EMT) instructors.

Duties

• Select and organize course material aligned with student learning outcomes
• Teach using methodologies appropriate to student level and content
• Supervise class and clinical students; evaluate student progress
• Maintain attendance, census, and grade records
• Advise students on educational goals
• Participate in staff development and continuing education in EMT and teaching

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher + 2 years of EMT experience + required certificate/license
• OR Associate's degree + 6 years of EMT experience + required certificate/license
• OR the equivalent

Pay & Benefits

$79.98–$90.60/hr. Benefits for eligible employees may include medical/dental/vision, life insurance, CalPERS or CalSTRS retirement, 403(b)/457(b) plans, paid sick leave, paid holidays, and a wellness program.

Adjunct pools remain open throughout the academic year. Position contingent upon funding.
