About the Role
Glendale Community College is seeking an EMS Coordinator (Professional Expert) to support the administrative and educational aspects of the Emergency Medical Services program.
Duties
- Provide operational and administrative support including training assistance, documentation review, and compliance monitoring
- Participate in development, implementation, and evaluation of EMS curriculum, courses, and students (per LEMSA, state, and accreditation standards)
- Maintain accurate student attendance and performance records
- Serve as liaison between the college and clinical agencies
- Support clinical site activities
- Develop relationships with community, business, and industry representatives
- Participate in student recruitment and program promotion
Required Qualifications
- Valid State of California license to practice medicine (in good standing with MBC or OMBC)
- 2 years of prehospital care experience in the last 5 years
