What You'll Do
- Develop original story ideas and translate them into visual narratives
- Develop and produce new and ongoing digital series
- Create work natively for social media (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
- Handle pre-production planning: reporting, scripting, booking, logistics
- Produce shoots in field or studio, directing crew and talent
- Edit or supervise editing, ensuring strong storytelling and pacing
- Collaborate with reporters and editors to refine stories
Requirements
- 5+ years video journalism experience at a major news organization or production company
- Experience covering music, culture, lifestyle, travel, science, or entertainment preferred
- Proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere, etc.)
- Ability to shoot footage highly preferred
