Clinical Education Manager

About the role

Supports the training and education of employees based in company facilities and programs within an assigned geographical area, delivering standardized, competency-based training and development programs — including new employee orientation, preceptor training, facility-specific in-services, and clinical, quality, and customer service training — to promote quality patient care and achieve Area, Regional and Enterprise-wide goals. Requires travel to clinics including West Glendale, West Covina, San Jose Hills, San Gabriel Haemo, San Gabriel Capd, Mid Wilshire and Burbank.

What you'll do

• Align with regional, group, and corporate business-related goals through all activities.
• Adhere to standards and scope of nursing practice, company policy, and regulatory requirements.
• Focus programs on patient safety, clinical quality goals, and improved patient outcomes.
• Develop competency and skills to educate personnel in chronic kidney disease treatment programs.
• Empower and promote a culture of lifelong learning through professional programs, coaching, and technology.
• Collaborate with partners at all levels to schedule, provide, and implement education programs and processes.
• Use facilitation techniques and a variety of tools to promote engaging learning experiences.
• Support metric/KPI programs with timely data documentation, reporting, and quality improvement.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, and strategies to support and train staff in all modalities.

Working conditions

Day-to-day work includes desk/computer work and interaction with patients, facility employees, and physicians. Requires travel between assigned facilities and to regional/corporate meetings (approximately 35-80% travel). Frequent, prolonged periods of standing; occasional lifting/moving of equipment up to 200 lbs with assistance.

Pay & benefits

Salary range: $71,000–$143,000/yr.
