About the Role
The Outpatient RN is accountable and responsible for the provision and coordination of clinically competent care for an assigned group of dialysis patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, as part of the End Stage Kidney Disease health care team. Dialysis experience required; TTS/opening shift 3:15am-4:15pm.
What You'll Do
- Perform ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre/during/post hemodialysis treatment
- Direct and provide, in collaboration with patient care staff, the daily provision of safe and effective hemodialysis therapy
- Administer medications as prescribed and document medical justification and effectiveness
- Initiate or assist with emergency response measures
- Serve as a resource, coach, and mentor for new and incumbent employees
Requirements
- Current RN licensure
- Dialysis experience required
- Willingness to complete Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) requirements
