Central Supply Distribution Technician

About the Role

Providence Tarzana Medical Center is seeking a full-time Central Supply Distribution Technician. Reporting to the Central Service Manager, this position maintains supply delivery services to all departments connected to patient care, handles patient charge collection and data entry, maintains inventory, and performs cleaning and disinfecting duties.

What You'll Do

• Maintain supply delivery service to all patient-care departments
• Collect and enter patient charges for established departments/units
• Use established purchasing practices to maintain department inventory and supplies
• Perform cleaning and disinfecting duties

Requirements

• California Fire and Life Safety Card within 30 days of hire
• Preferred: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Healthcare Sterile Processing Association) upon hire
• Preferred: 1 year experience in an acute care facility
