About the Role
NBCUniversal Global Distribution handles the sales and distribution of NBCUniversal product across 200+ territories, including a library of more than 6,000 feature films and 170,000 TV episodes. The Assistant Manager, Metadata will support procurement, creation, and distribution of descriptive metadata and artwork assets to new media licensees, including QC and multi-language delivery under tight deadlines.
What You'll Do
- Research, aggregate, QC and deliver descriptive metadata and art assets for licensed TV titles
- Source information from official systems and standardize data in an internal database
- Coordinate with Sales Administration, Account Management, Master Data, and Materials Servicing teams
- Commission synopsis translations in multiple languages from vendors
- Research, request, and organize artwork files ahead of delivery deadlines
- Proofread and export metadata via XLS, CSV, XML, or other formats per licensee specs
- Investigate and resolve technical packaging issues and QC tickets with minimal supervision
- Handle client inquiries, responding promptly or redirecting to the right contact
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Media Distribution or Post-Production
- Proficient in English business writing
- Intermediate Microsoft Office 365 skills, including Excel Macros (VBA), Pivot Tables, and Formulas
Nice to Have
- Experience with editorial proofreading and delivering descriptive metadata
- Familiarity with digital artwork deliverable specs (key art, photography, logos/title treatments)
Schedule & Pay
- Hybrid: minimum of four days per week in office

- Salary range: $70,500–$75,000/year
