About the Role
The Assistant Manager, Audio/Video Technical leads onsite design implementation, installation, operation, and maintenance of audio/video systems for Entertainment projects — marquee events, park theatrical entertainment, press events, and special projects — partnering with Project Management, Tech Management, AV Creative, and vendors.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate with AV Creative and vendors to implement, maintain, and operate AV designs and equipment
- Represent the AV Tech team in project meetings and facilitate stakeholder communication
- Coordinate development of AV system documentation, drawings, and deliverables
- Track and manage inventory of Entertainment Technical AV equipment
- Monitor technical performance, coordinate preventative maintenance and lifecycle planning
- Lead Entertainment Technical Services AV personnel during installations, rehearsals, and live operations
Requirements
- 3+ years in theatrical/entertainment audio/video design, implementation, or production
- Extensive theme park experience in technical AV production for live theatrical entertainment
- Working knowledge of Q-SYS, QLab, Reaper, Dante, and related hardware (Yamaha, Allen & Heath, QSC)
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays
Pay
Salary range $70,000–$80,000/year.
