About the Role
Disney's Corporate Legal – Litigation group is seeking an Assistant Chief Counsel to play a central role in managing the Company's general litigation docket, with an emphasis on patent disputes, FRAND licensing claims, and cross-border enforcement actions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute litigation strategy — case evaluation, budgeting, and motion practice
- Lead matters across U.S. federal/state courts and international jurisdictions, including Germany, Brazil, and the Unified Patent Court
- Supervise outside counsel and advise business/technology stakeholders on litigation risk
- Collaborate with patent prosecution and antitrust counsel on validity challenges and administrative proceedings
Requirements
- 10+ years of litigation experience, including complex patent infringement cases
- Law degree; California State Bar admission (or eligibility for Registered In-House Counsel status)
- Experience supervising attorneys and paralegals

Full-time, Burbank, CA.
Pay & Benefits
$236,000–$316,500/year hiring range, plus bonus/long-term incentive eligibility and Disney's full benefits package.
