About the role
DTVA has over 40 years of legacy as a top producer of kids & family entertainment across 2D, rig-based 2D, CG, and stop-motion. The Technical Director II executes retakes or creates shots from scratch, digging into complex shots from international animation partners and improving them with precision and artistry.
What you'll do
- Perform shot work at any stage of the pipeline: color, lighting, animation timing, re-animating, fx, compositing
- Support production workflows for pre-production artwork and technical assets
- For CG shots: troubleshoot shots/assets, provide technical input, R&D, or tool creation
- Facilitate delivery of final domestic source master materials to broadcast and streaming
- Create or recommend tools/pipelines to increase efficiency
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in animation production
- Expert knowledge of 2D/Harmony workflows and Photoshop; CG production knowledge a plus
