About the Role

Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer — Integration & Test at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Woodland Hills, CA. Responsible for requirements development, integration, and verification of complex defense systems.

Clearance: Active U.S. Secret clearance required | Relocation assistance may be available | 10% travel | 100% on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and flow requirements into design documentation; work with diverse teams to build and test to those requirements
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, and requirements allocation
• Generate and manage requirements sets covering mechanical/electrical interfaces, data, environmental, and reliability requirements
• Work with Agile teams to ensure designs and all requirements are verified through inspection, analysis, demonstration, or test
• Facilitate test directions for production and troubleshooting tests; ensure data conforms to requirements
• Develop simulation models for sensors and systems

Basic Qualifications

Systems Engineer: BS STEM + 2 yrs; or MS STEM | Active Secret clearance | On-site full-time

Principal Systems Engineer: BS STEM + 5 yrs; MS STEM + 3 yrs; or PhD + 1 yr | Same clearance and onsite requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Agile team experience; IBM Rational DOORS, JIRA, ClearQuest/ClearCase
• Model-Based Systems Engineering and Cameo modeling
• Lab and system integration experience

Pay & Benefits

Systems Engineer: $91,800–$137,600/yr | Principal: $114,000–$171,000/yr. Bonus-eligible; health insurance, life/disability insurance, savings plan, paid holidays, and PTO.
