Systems Administrator

About the Role

Supports the CSUN University Library's endpoint environments and systems infrastructure, ensuring availability, reliability, security, and performance of library computing resources.

What You'll Do

• Deploy and maintain hardware, equipment, and software
• Implement security best practices and investigate/resolve system issues (data corruption, connectivity)
• Plan, coordinate, and validate system upgrades and compatibility for new software/hardware

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience)
• Working knowledge of operating systems, server administration, scripting, virtualization, and cloud technologies
• Enterprise environment and Extron device experience a plus

Schedule

Full-time, 40 hrs/week, Monday–Friday (may include evenings/weekends), Northridge. One-year probationary period; background check required.

Pay & Benefits

Anticipated hiring range $6,492–$7,027/month (full range up to $9,458/month). Excellent benefits, including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and tuition waiver.
