What You'll Do
- Receive, store, and issue materials, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain inventory records; check stock levels and prepare reports
- Maintain charge-out slips for stock tools and equipment
- Operate a forklift; keep the stockroom and yard in neat and orderly condition
- Prepare or check requisitions for purchase of supplies
- May supervise storeroom workers and arrange layout of storeroom
Requirements
- Two years of recent experience receiving, storing, issuing, and inventorying supplies, equipment, and property
- Valid California Class "C" driver's license or equivalent at time of appointment
- Ability to maintain inventory and organize a large storeroom
