Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing — Technology

About the Role & Team

The Enterprise Sourcing team supports sourcing and procurement needs across corporate functions and business segments, including the development and execution of category management strategies for Technology. Position based in either Burbank, CA or San Francisco, CA.

What You Will Do

The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Technology will lead a team responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across key technology categories. This role partners with senior Technology, Finance, Sourcing, and business stakeholders to maximize value, mitigate risk, and negotiate agreements that support business priorities.

• Develop and manage technology category strategies that support business priorities and deliver against savings, value, and risk mitigation goals.
• Lead complex sourcing engagements from intake through contract award, including supplier assessment, competitive bidding, renewals, negotiations, contracting, and supplier management.
• Use market intelligence and analytical frameworks to evaluate supplier markets and inform sourcing strategies.
• Develop, monitor, and report performance measures that demonstrate value, savings, compliance, and supplier performance.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with Segment and functional leaders.
• Lead supplier performance reviews and compliance activities.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the Technology Sourcing team.
• Manage three or more direct reports supporting Technology sourcing categories.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, category management, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of leadership experience managing teams in a strategic sourcing or procurement environment.
• 3–5+ years of Technology category management experience.
• Technology category experience across SaaS, hardware, telecom, cloud, AI tools, cybersecurity, and IT managed services.
• Strong executive presence, presentation skills, and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated track record managing large, complex technology spend portfolios ($500M+).

Preferred Qualifications

• Internal or external business consulting experience.
• Experience in television, media, entertainment, or technology companies.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, finance, technology, business, or equivalent work experience.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $168,200–$205,400 per year.
