About the Role
Disney Entertainment Television's Content Finance COE team leads financial analysis and business planning for all DET brands — ABC Entertainment, FX, Disney Kids & Family, Nat Geo, Onyx, and Freeform. This Senior Financial Analyst role focuses primarily on ABC Entertainment and Freeform, supporting Annual Operating Plan, Long-Range Plan, and quarterly forecasting.
Based in Burbank, CA.
What You'll Do
- Forecasting & Analysis: Support AOP, LRP, and quarterly forecasts for content amortization, development, and production spend by title; build and maintain detailed forecasting models
- Consolidated Reporting: Partner with Content COE finance brand leads to standardize content reporting across DET brands
- Management Reporting: Prepare variance analyses to prior forecasts, budgets, and prior year for leadership review; maintain a tracker of key risks and opportunities
- Ad Hoc Reporting: Provide financial support for trends, executive inquiries, and studio-wide performance; support strategic planning
- Finance Transformation / AI Integration: Identify automation and technology opportunities across development forecasting; recommend process simplification
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (Finance, Accounting, or Economics preferred)
- 2+ years of FP&A, accounting, studio finance, or related experience in entertainment
- Strong Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis skills
- Experience with AI and automation tools to streamline financial processes
- Detail-oriented, organized, able to manage multiple priorities
- Prior Film/TV industry experience is a plus
Pay & Benefits
$104,800–$128,000/yr in California. Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may also be provided. Full Disney benefits package.
