Marketplace & Portfolio Strategic Insights Manager

About the Role

Disney's Marketplace & Portfolio Insights team helps leaders understand how audiences, platforms, and content are evolving — connecting signals across viewing behavior, competitive activity, audience trends, and marketplace dynamics. This Manager role will combine marketplace analysis, audience insight, and strategic storytelling, with a focus on content library performance.

Based in Burbank, CA.

What You'll Do

• Analyze content performance, audience behavior, and viewership trends across platforms
• Develop insights on title performance, genre trends, library engagement, discovery, audience composition, and competitive positioning
• Lead hypothesis-driven analyses exploring content performance and competitive dynamics
• Synthesize multiple data sources into clear insights on what is happening, why it matters, and implications for Disney's content portfolio strategy
• Build analytical frameworks showing how content drives engagement across linear, streaming, FAST, and beyond
• Create compelling presentations translating complex analysis into actionable insights for business partners
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Research, Programming, Strategy, Distribution, Marketing, and Streaming

Requirements

• 6+ years in audience research, consumer insights, analytics, strategy consulting, or media intelligence
• Experience with audience measurement platforms including Nielsen
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative research
• Experience developing competitive intelligence or audience insights in media/entertainment/tech/consulting
• Bachelor's degree in Media, Analytics, Business, Social Sciences, or related field

Pay & Benefits

$105,100–$140,900/yr in Burbank, CA. Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may also be provided. Full Disney benefits package.
