Senior Chemical Engineer

About the Role

Wastech Engineering (Ecolab/Ovivo) is hiring a Senior Chemical Engineer to help keep complex, high-impact projects on track and elevate how the engineering team plans, designs, and delivers — partnering closely with the Engineering Manager.

What You'll Do

• Provide daily project status and update the weekly engineering schedule
• Manage design activities and provide technical guidance across Engineering, Production, and Sales
• Participate in weekly client and internal meetings to remove roadblocks
• Implement and enforce operational procedures to improve efficiency
• Monitor project costs and performance to meet commitments safely, on budget, and on schedule

Requirements

• BS in Chemical Engineering, process background
• 15+ years of relevant experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong project management, communication, and team leadership skills

Location & Schedule

Onsite in Chatsworth, CA. Typical hours 8am–5pm; limited travel.
