About the Role
Cortica is seeking a School Behavior Technician (SBT) to provide 1:1 behavior support to students with autism and neurodevelopmental differences in school settings, partnering with educators, caregivers, and Cortica's clinical team.
What You'll Do
- Execute responsibilities associated with the Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) credential
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) aligned with student IEPs and school goals
- Integrate behavioral strategies into daily classroom routines
- Support communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care development
- Collect data on student progress and complete documentation
Requirements
- HS diploma or equivalent
- BCAT or RBT credential within 30 days of hire (where required by district)
- Reliable transportation between work sites; first aid/CPR certification; TB clearance
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:30am–3:45pm, following the school academic calendar (unpaid breaks during school holidays). Minimum 4 hours of paid work per day when available.
