RN, Step-Down Unit – Night Shift Full Time

Job Summary

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines.

Requirements

• BSN preferred; acute care facility experience preferred
• RN licensure in CA required
• CPR/BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale required

What You'll Do

• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs
• Develop, implement and evaluate the nursing care plan
• Collaborate with patients, families and the care team
• Participate in discharge planning
• Delegate and coordinate duties of nursing staff
