Sr. Radiologic Technologist, Full-Time Day Shift

Job Summary

Operates all x-ray equipment in the radiology department to produce images of designated portions of the body as ordered by physicians. Positions and instructs patients prior to examination, adjusts equipment and determines proper technique and desired exposure times for each image. Explains any post-procedure instructions to patients upon exam completion.

Requirements

• Five years' radiology experience preferred
• ARRT-R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required
• RT license required in CA and HI
• BLS certification required
• Fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire

What You'll Do

• Support radiologists with specialized tests and STAT exam notifications
• Produce quality diagnostic images with efficiency and professionalism
• Operate complex radiographic equipment in the cardiac catheterization department using ALARA standards
• Lead collaborative departmental protocol development
