About the Role
Disney Television Animation (DTVA) has over forty years of legacy as a top producer of kids & family entertainment, creating shows across 2D, CG, and stop-motion styles for Disney-branded series.
The Production Department Secretary is the communication hub of a TV animation series production — coordinating meetings, correspondence, travel, credits, and crew events.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and schedule meetings for Executive Producers, Producer, and Line Producer
- Maintain the production calendar and manage correspondence via messages and email
- Handle travel authorizations and coordination for crew, domestic and international
- Order supplies for crew/production through approved vendors
- Boost crew morale through team-building activities (potlucks, birthday celebrations, etc.)
- Serve as point person for facilities and crew needs
- Compile, verify, and distribute show credits
- Complete expense reports per DTVA procedures
- Partner with the Script Coordinator/Script Department on script distribution, memos, and Legal/S&P approvals
- Communicate with Casting to ensure materials are ready for recording sessions
Requirements
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Mac/PC proficient; strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Canva, Final Draft, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Airtable
- Knowledge of SAP and Concur
Schedule & Pay
Fully onsite role based in Glendale, CA. Pay rate is $25.01/hour. Benefits may include medical, financial, and other offerings depending on level and position.
