About the Role
Disney Television Animation (DTVA) creates kids & family entertainment across 2D, CG, and stop-motion styles for Disney-branded series. The Production Coordinator supports Producers, Production Managers, and Production Supervisors through pre-production and production.
What You'll Do
Planning
- Coordinate meetings: Storyboard Handouts, Design Reviews, Pitches, Leica Screenings, Art Approvals, Animatic Reviews
- Break down scripts for Storyboard Handouts and Design meetings
- Research and locate reference material for the crew
Collaboration
- Maintain artwork and production files per standard TVA procedures
- Prepare materials for the Vendor studio, Production Executives, and other Disney partners
- Attend and take notes at Retake sessions, distributing notes to the Vendor studio
- Help ensure Storyboards are conformed and pitch/due dates stay on track
Organization
- Track all artwork (characters, props, location designs) in the "Insight" database
- Create and maintain episode Design Lists; prepare digital shipping packages for the Vendor studio
Communication
- Follow up on issues from the Vendor studio
- Prepare and distribute materials for in-house, freelance, and daily-call artists
Requirements
- 3+ years in animated television series production
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office, ToonBoom Storyboard Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Insight, Ftrack
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
