About the Role
The Walt Disney Company's Content Platforms & Operations team is seeking a Product Operations Manager II to join the Product Operations organization at Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology in Glendale, CA. The team is responsible for the technical and operational functions driving worldwide distribution and monetization of Disney's linear networks and theatrical content.
What You'll Do
- Serve as platform expert: analyze customer requests, document patterns and trends, provide actionable insights to Product and Engineering
- Guide day-to-day activities of a remote team of business analysts supporting multiple systems
- Build and manage relationships with business stakeholders; address support inquiries, conduct system trainings, oversee onboarding activities
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), maintain documentation, coordinate user access audits, support root cause analysis
- Draft and disseminate feature release notes, project updates, operational notices, and stakeholder communications
- Deliver updates on initiatives, operational performance, and metrics to Product and Engineering partners
- Execute operational activities supporting product launches and user transitions
- Participate in larger organizational Product Operations initiatives: evergreen documentation, strategic communication plans, and process definition
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional role, preferably supporting clients in a technology/product environment
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), able to distill information accurately for business partners and tech teams
- Strong prioritization, organization, and self-starting skills
- Bachelor's degree and equivalent professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Airtable, or similar enterprise tools
- Experience supporting SaaS, on-prem software, content management systems, or cloud-based solutions
- Agile/Scrum methodology experience; strong technical writing skills
- Experience collaborating with Product Management and Engineering teams
Pay & Benefits
$106,900–$143,300/yr (Glendale, CA). Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided. Full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
