About the Role & Team
Disney's Direct-to-Consumer team oversees the Hulu and Disney+ streaming businesses within Disney Entertainment, bringing The Walt Disney Company's best-in-class storytelling to fans and families everywhere.
The Disney+ Programming team leads content planning, scheduling, on-service merchandising, slate management, and programming insights to support a cohesive, strategic approach to content across the service.
What You Will Do
As the Content Planning Coordinator, you will support the global Disney+ Content Planning & Scheduling team within Disney+ Programming. You will help maintain and audit planning databases, localization intent, global dates, and day-to-day content changes. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, clear communication, sound judgment, and a collaborative, diplomatic approach.
- Maintain and help create databases, reports, and documents for leadership and internal stakeholders
- Communicate with internal partner teams to support day-to-day updates and change management
- Track and audit international title plans within Disney+ tools and ecosystems
- Maintain accurate title-planning data throughout each title's lifecycle
- Support ad hoc projects and requests as needed
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in content scheduling, slate planning, content strategy, or a related field
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with data governance and data interpretation
- Experience building, refining, and iterating high-impact pitch decks and presentations
- Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in roles and processes that are not clearly defined, constantly evolving
- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
- Knowledge of and passion for The Walt Disney Company's segments, brands, and franchises
- Strong emotional intelligence and a collaborative working style
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in digital media or entertainment, including SVOD or linear television
- Experience using Airtable
Education
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
