Principal Program Cost Control Analyst

About the role

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Woodland Hills, CA is looking for a Principal Program Cost Control Analyst to support Firm Fixed Price production programs in the Navigation, Intelligence and Connectivity Division. Onsite, 9/80 schedule. No clearance required.

What you'll do

• Interface with program managers, CAMs, and business managers to provide financial support and analysis
• Prepare budgets, schedules, and financial analyses including funding profiles, sales outlook, and cash forecasting
• Monitor costs and schedules using Earned Value Metric (EVM) — WBS development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis
• Prepare reports ensuring contracts are within government cost control guidelines
• Support audits, Annual Operating Plan, and Resource Plan activities

Requirements

Bachelor's + 5 years experience (or Master's + 3, or 9 years without degree); experience with financial systems, cost performance reporting, and forecasting; strong Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookup).

Preferred: Finance/Accounting/Business degree; COGNOS, SAP, COBRA, or ERP2; EVM and performance measurement baseline experience.
