Pre-Admission Specialist (PM)

About the Role

Pre-Admission Specialist (PM shift) at Child & Family Guidance Center in Northridge, coordinating intake and pre-admission for mental health services provided to youth and families in the San Fernando Valley.

What You'll Do

• Screen incoming referrals and conduct pre-admission assessments
• Complete insurance verification and prior authorization processes
• Schedule initial appointments and connect clients to appropriate services
• Coordinate with clinical staff on placement and service matching
• Maintain accurate intake records in the electronic health record system

Requirements

• Experience in mental health, healthcare, or social services intake preferred
• Knowledge of MediCal, insurance verification, and authorization processes a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
