About the role
As a 3rd year Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you'll apply your pharmacy school training in real-world practice under the direction of a preceptor, working toward becoming a licensed Pharmacist.
What you'll do
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe, accurate prescription fulfillment
- Offer counseling and field medical questions under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Take telephonic prescriptions and contact prescribers to clarify or facilitate medication changes where allowed
- Complete basic inventory activities (medication deliveries, cycle counts, returns-to-stock)
- Offer immunizations and other pharmacy services to patients
Pay
- $20.50–$24.25/hr, depending on experience, education, and geography
