Patient Access Representative

About the Role

Responsible for timely and accurate patient registration — interviewing patients for account information, verifying insurance, calculating and collecting patient liability amounts, and ensuring necessary signatures are obtained for treatment.

What You'll Do

• Check for physician orders and attach them to the correct patient record
• Verify insurance and enter authorization information accurately
• Explain policies clearly and answer patient questions
• Prepare and distribute paperwork; escort patients to their service area as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED preferred; Associate's/Technical degree preferred
