About the Role
Responsible for timely and accurate patient registration — interviewing patients for account information, verifying insurance, calculating and collecting patient liability amounts, and ensuring necessary signatures are obtained for treatment.
What You'll Do
- Check for physician orders and attach them to the correct patient record
- Verify insurance and enter authorization information accurately
- Explain policies clearly and answer patient questions
- Prepare and distribute paperwork; escort patients to their service area as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED preferred; Associate's/Technical degree preferred
