About the Role

Registered Nurse in the Telemetry unit (CITU) — Part-time, Day shift.

What You'll Do

Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines.

• Collect and analyze assessment data; determine diagnosis and care issues
• Develop and implement a plan prescribing interventions to attain outcomes
• Evaluate progress toward attaining outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Provide health information to patients, families, and treatment team
• Participate in discharge planning for continuity of care
• Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications (Required):

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• BLS/CPR certification from approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (department-specific)
