Nuclear Pharmacy Technician

About the role

Cardinal Health is hiring a Nuclear Pharmacy Technician to draw, dispense, and package radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a licensed Staff Pharmacist, following State Board of Pharmacy regulations. A $1,000 new hire sign-on bonus is offered.

What you'll do

• Prepare prescriptions, obtaining Staff Pharmacist approval
• Draw doses into a syringe or vial; perform quality assurance tests on instruments and radiopharmaceuticals
• Receive, document, and store incoming and outgoing pharmaceuticals
• Maintain computer inventory and records; assist in labeling blood cell products
• Make deliveries to accounts with company vehicles

Requirements

• Valid driver's license; minimum 18 years of age
• Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy or PTCB preferred
• Ability to manage up to 75 pounds
• Pharmacy Technician experience preferred; IV or clean room experience a plus

Schedule

40 hrs/week, Monday-Friday 5AM-1:30PM, plus weekends/holidays/on-call as needed.

Pay & benefits
