Non-Certified Operating Engineer (Union)

About the Role

Responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems for The CW's property in Woodland Hills, CA. This is a union position.

What You'll Do

• Perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC work for the building(s)
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and air distribution systems
• Monitor and adjust mechanical/pneumatic equipment and control systems
• Perform preventive maintenance per company standards and manufacturer recommendations
• Inspect engine room equipment, cooling towers, motors, and back-up generators
• Perform fire and life safety inspections per NFPA and local jurisdiction requirements
• Respond immediately to emergency situations (fire, evacuation, equipment failure)

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or Trade/Technical/Vocational school
• 7+ years of related work experience in a commercial property setting
• Appropriate trade license/permit as required (e.g., Journeyman/Master Electrician License)
• Valid driver's license with good driving record

Pay

$39.32–$46.26/hr — union position
