About the role
As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician at Amazon, you will support the Reliability Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will also mentor junior technicians.
What you'll do
- Install, maintain, and repair robotics and material handling equipment (MHE)
- Support pneumatic systems throughout the fulfillment building
- Mentor junior technicians
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a related maintenance/technical field
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred
- Associate's degree or vocational certificate in mechanical or electrical field
- 2+ years of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience
- Experience with MHE or robotics systems
Pay & benefits
