Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

The mission of Amazon Leo's Government (ALG) team is to leverage existing Amazon Leo technology and provide high speed, low latency, and secure satellite broadband services to the United States and allied government customers.

What you'll do

• Interact directly with customers to understand technical requirements, and translate them into technically robust solutions backed by data and analysis
• Responsible for electrical circuit design verification (including digital and analog power) for hosting sensitive RF and communications payloads
• Verify and validate electronic circuits including Analog Power, Digital Design, Mixed-Signal ADC/DAC, RF, Processors, FPGA, MCU, SoC, Memory, Transceivers, Clock generation and distribution
• Use electronics test equipment including digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, network analyzers, power meters
• Perform and document test plans, procedures, and reports including Design Verification (DVT), Qualification (QTP), and Acceptance Test (ATP)
• Design and support test campaigns, both development and qualification/acceptance, for space hardware
• Note: This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements

Required qualifications

• Experience with prototyping and implementation

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools
• 2+ years of electronics verification testing
