Mastering QC Operator

About the Role

Quality assurance operator testing video, audio, and closed captioning at Deluxe's Burbank facility.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4pm–12:30am | Pay: $29.00–$32.05/hr

What You'll Do

• Perform QA testing on video, audio, and closed captioning
• Conduct incoming QC on client-supplied materials (audio, video, subtitles) for file production
• Run file QCs using Transkoder, GrayMeta Iris, and other playback programs
• Visual and audible QA testing of compressed video and encoded audio
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3–5 years quality control experience in the entertainment industry
• Master source QC experience required
• Fundamental understanding of audio, video, and film
• Ability to troubleshoot QC issues, software, and player anomalies
• Organized, diligent, and detail-oriented
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Accurate, methodical approach with focused attention to audio/video impairments and artifacts
• Comfortable making frequent subjective decisions (severity ratings, acceptable defect thresholds)
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay & Benefits
