Analyst, BI Engineering

About the Role

Disney's Enterprise Research & Analytics team is seeking an Analyst, BI Engineering specializing in YouTube data and analytics. The Brand Analytics team is charged with understanding consumer thoughts, feelings, and behaviors across digital and social channels — informing key business decisions for Disney+, Hulu, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Disney Parks, and more.

Based in Burbank, CA — in-person Mon–Thu, remote Fri.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain analytical tools, data pipelines, and scalable BI products
• Integrate and analyze YouTube-native data from the YouTube API, YouTube Studio Analytics, Content Manager, and internal data lakes
• Develop YouTube analytics frameworks and BI dashboards translating business questions into insights
• Establish YouTube data governance, documentation, validation, and quality control practices
• Develop and maintain data visualization and UX/UI standards across dashboards and reports
• Deliver executive-level data storytelling on YouTube performance for senior Disney leadership

Requirements

• 3+ years in business intelligence, analytics, or data engineering
• Hands-on experience with YouTube's analytics ecosystem (API, YouTube Studio, CMS)
• Proficiency with SQL and BI/visualization tools (Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI, or Domo)
• Knowledge of platform-native analytics APIs (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter)
• Knowledge of AI-powered analytics and LLM-based workflows

Preferred

• AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot)
• Python or R programming experience
• Enterprise social analytics platforms (Sprinklr, Quid, RivalIQ)
• Entertainment/media company experience

Pay & Benefits

$89,000–$119,300/yr in Burbank, CA. Bonus and/or long-term incentive units may also be provided. Full benefits package including health, savings, and educational opportunities.
